During School

Artsonia (Grades K-6)

Big Bend Elementary is a proud member of Artsonia, the world's largest online museum of children's art. For over 10 years now, we have continually ranked in the "Top 10" of Wisconsin schools and it is because of our supportive friends and family who visit the site to leave positive comments for our talented artists. To see what we're up to in the Art Room, visit Artsonia.Coordinator: Amy Kratochvil

Band (Grades: 5-6)

Band is a great way for students to build self-confidence and responsibility. Beginning in 5th grade, students are invited to take part in the school's band program that includes individual lessons, as well as, large group practice time that prepares them for moving forward in band as they leave Big Bend Elementary. There are two concerts a year. Coordinator:Ben Warrichaiet

BBTV (Grades: 4K-6)

Each school year, all of the students in the school have an opportunity to take part in our daily live closed-circuit television announcements, BBTV. Students are the cast and crew; announcing and running the equipment. Coordinators: Becky Bretza and Sue Haas

Orchestra (Grades: 4-6)

Like Band, orchestra also aides in developing confidence and responsibility. Orchestra begins in 4th grade with individual lessons and weekly large group practice time. The band and orchestra programs run their concerts together two times a year. Coordinator: Sarah Oftedahl

S.A.V.E (Grades: 4-6)

Student Council (Grades: 4-6)
